Purchasing and Inventory Administrator
Location: Office based - Barnsley
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Purchasing and Inventory Administrator to manage end-to-end purchasing and inventory control across all company locations. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations, accurate stock management, and strong supplier performance. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain efficient procurement processes and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create and process Purchase Orders for materials, including expediting where required
2. Provide operational support for production, scheduling, and purchasing forecasts
3. Carry out administrative duties to support supplier contract maintenance
4. Chase suppliers for Purchase Order delivery updates
5. Track orders and ensure timely deliveries
6. Update internal databases with order details and delivery information
7. Maintain and update accurate inventory records
8. Monitor stock levels and raise orders when required
9. Report and investigate stock discrepancies
