Deputy Manager (Female Only) - Learning Disabilities Services
Location: Birmingham
Salary: C. £32,400
Hours: 37 hours per week (5 out of 7 days, occasional weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent
Travel: Driving licence and own vehicle preferred
I am seeking a compassionate and self-motivated Deputy Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of two small, homely residential services supporting adults with learning disabilities in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide effective leadership and daily management across two residential services
2. Supervise and support a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
3. Participate in the on-call rota and provide occasional weekend cover
4. Travel for referrals and assessments as required
Essential Criteria:
5. Female applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1)
6. Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
7. Proven experience in a supervisory role such as Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, or Deputy Manager within a setting for adults with learning disabilities.
8. Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems
9. Flexible, proactive, and organised with excellent communication skills
10. Ability to travel outside the local area - driving licence and own vehicle preferred
