Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager – fashion store, Colwyn Bay.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager with day‑to‑day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.
* Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects the organisation’s values.
* Ensure highest standard of customer service.
* Achieve sales targets.
* Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising.
* Maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
* Support recruitment and development of volunteers.
* Meet expectations within campaign activities.
* Work with the manager to generate stock.
* Adapt to a fast‑paced, 7‑day‑a‑week trading environment requiring flexibility with weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
* Manage physical demands of transport, sorting, and storage of collections, deliveries and donations.
* Promote the organisation’s vision by contributing to life‑saving research funding.
Requirements
* Experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Supervisory experience desirable.
* Commercially driven with a capacity to encourage new ideas.
* Inclusive approach to developing teams.
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the highest retail standards.
* Results‑driven with recognition of the right result, right way.
* Fully flexible to work weekends, bank holidays on a rota basis.
