Harrod UK Ltd (Harrod Horticultural and Harrod Sport) are seeking a results-oriented B2B Sales Executive to support and grow our sales. Core Responsibilities
1. New Business Development & Prospecting
* Identify and research potential customers and business sectors through databases, trade publications, online sources, networking, and industry events.
* Proactively reach out to new leads through targeted emails, calls, and LinkedIn to build strong relationships and generate qualified enquiries.
* Maintain and update CRM tools with accurate lead and opportunity information.
2. Sales Pipeline Management
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to order confirmation, including:
* Responding promptly and professionally to B2B sales enquiries.
* Creating and issuing quotations tailored to customer needs.
* Following up with clients to convert quotes into orders.
* Coordinating bespoke orders between design teams and clients.
* Ensuring proformas, credit applications, and account setup are processed efficiently.
3. Order Processing & Fulfilment
* Input and release customer orders using the ICE/XSuite system, working closely with internal departments to resolve finance or account-related holds.
* Liaise with the accounts and operations teams to monitor order progress and ensure timely delivery.
* Keep customers informed on their order status and delivery timelines.
* Proactively resolve any post-sale issues including delivery delays, returns, or product queries.
4. Sales Reporting & Forecasting
* Compile and present weekly B2B sales reports, pipeline updates, and conversion metrics to key stakeholders.
* Identify trends and flag opportunities or areas of concern within the trade channel.
5. Trade Shows & Customer Engagement
* Represent Harrod UK at shows and events for either brand where required, both in setting up and presenting to prospective clients.
* Conduct off site meetings when required to support valued customers, complex orders or high-value projects.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
* Work with the Marketing team to develop case studies and promotional materials based on successful B2B projects.
* Provide input on B2B-specific campaigns and content, ensuring alignment with customer needs and seasonal demand.
