Job Description:
We are seeking reliable Kitchen Assistants for an immediate start.
Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but a willingness to learn and work well within a team is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist kitchen staff with daily food preparation tasks as directed
Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces and equipment to maintain hygiene standards
Wash and dry plates, cutlery, glasses, and other utensils efficiently
Help with unpacking and storing deliveries, ensuring food storage areas are organised and compliant with safety standards
Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the kitchen and dining areas
Always follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Dispose of waste and recycling correctly, keeping the kitchen tidy and clutter-free
Assist with basic food preparation such as peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients as required
Report any equipment faults or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly
Work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations
