Must have’s
* Proven experience in retail buying – ideally within homeware, kitchenware, or a similar category
* Strong commercial mindset – able to balance creativity with strategy
* Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
* Confident analysing data to inform buying and pricing decisions
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have’s
* Experience working with international suppliers (China and/or Europe)
* A passion for cooking, homeware, or interior trends
* Experience developing own-label products
* Knowledge of sustainability or ethical sourcing principles
So what will you be doing?
* Selecting, developing, and managing product ranges
* Analysing sales trends to identify opportunities for growth
* Negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best commercial terms
* Collaborating with internal teams (design, merchandising, marketing) to deliver cohesive product launches
* Ensuring product quality, value, and innovation align with brand standards
* Travelling for sourcing and supplier visits (China and Europe)
