Maintenance Coordinator role at Quantum Care. Part Time. Quantum Care is a not for profit company providing high quality care services for over 2000 older people in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. The role involves day-to-day general building repairs to enhance the fabric of the Care Home, ensuring a safe and homely environment for residents. Responsibilities
* Provide a range of day-to-day general basic building repairs to enhance the fabric of the Care Home.
* Undertake a range of basic day-to-day repairs and maintenance tasks including minor decoration to ensure a safe and homely environment for residents.
* Undertake routine inspections of the Home, reporting issues to the Housekeeper Manager that would benefit from care and maintenance.
* Clean outdoor areas such as footpaths, waste or parking areas, including snow and ice control.
* Help move furniture such as tables, hospital beds, etc.
* Any other duties, depending on skills or competency, to enable the efficient running of the Home, as requested by the Home Manager or Housekeeping Manager.
