We are now looking for a Trainee / Apprentice Building Surveyor to join our team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join our 2025 Graduate Programme at Egis. Job Description
As a trainee / apprentice building surveyor, you will undertake a relevant degree in Building Surveying and demonstrate a strong ambition to learn and succeed. The company will invest in your development to become a professional capable of managing costs on construction projects. You will be an integral part of our team, embodying T&A’s values, and building supportive, professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and project teams, contributing to the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Building Surveying team on general project and survey works.
* Represent the company values professionally and positively.
* Be responsible, self-motivated, and work well with team members.
* Develop an understanding of AutoCAD.
* Work towards achieving a building surveyor degree.
Qualifications
29 points: Foundation Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering with SQA Highers at AAB (Mathematics desirable but not essential); a combination of qualifications totaling 96 SCQF credits at level 6 or minimum 126 UCAS points.
Year 2: SQA Advanced Highers at BB and Highers at ABB; HNC or HND in a Construction-related subject with relevant grades; or a relevant Modern/Technical Apprenticeship.
