Senior Support Worker – Make Everyday Matter

Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire

Salary: £29,367 per annum (£15.06 per hour) plus benefits

Hours: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. Shifts may vary.)

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Right to work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer skilled worker visas.

What You’ll Need

* Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
* A QCF in Health & Social Care Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a Level 3 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living.
* Previous experience in a care/support setting
* A valid UK driving licence (optional)
* The legal right to live and work in the UK


What You’ll Be Doing

* Lead by example, be professional, patient and calm under pressure; support daily routines – from morning support to bedtime.
* Supervise daily outputs and assist the deputy manager in managing staff performance, development and appraisals.
* Ensure that you assist and that the people and their families are treated with respect, dignity and equality.
* Work in accordance with SeeAbility’s values.
