DM Planning Officer (x5) — Buckinghamshire — £39 per hour guide — Initial 4 Month Contract — Job Ref - 64029
My Local Authority Client in Buckinghamshire is looking to source experienced planning officers across the council, offering up to 5 positions.
Role and Working Environment
Hybrid working; initial office-based induction period. Site visits required across a mixture of locations - Driving preferred (Business Insurance needed).
Responsibilities
* Managing a significant backlog of applications.
* High-volume, repetitive casework requiring efficient turnaround.
* Need for officers who can quickly integrate and work independently.
* Ability to manage workload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Experience with Uniform and Idox systems desired.
* Local Authority experience desired.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong understanding of planning regulations, local plans, TCPA, and best practice.
