Overview

Join our dedicated team as a part‑time (16 hours per week) Caregiver in Dunfermline. You will provide one‑to‑one support to a young man, helping with daily personal and household tasks, and engaging him in his interests.


Shift Pattern

Work hours: 1100‑2100, one day per week. Rotational rota covering weekdays, weekends and public holidays. A sleep‑over shift is not included in the scheduled hours, but you will receive an extra £100.80 for each one.


Responsibilities

Support the client’s day‑to‑day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, personal care and medication management. Encourage and assist with leisure activities such as motorsports, plane spotting, cinema, walking and day trips. Participate in community outings and ensure a safe, supportive environment.


Qualifications

* Experience in a caring or supportive role
* Strong communication skills
* Positive, caring attitude
* Comfortable following routines and guidelines
* Cooking ability
* Basic computer proficiency


Preferred

* Full, clean driving licence (client uses a mobility car)

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare, supported by our Training Academy. You must also register with the SCCC within three months of starting.
