Role
Lecturer in Accounting & Finance for the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Deliver management‑related modules, develop course materials, assess students and stay current on field developments.
What You'll Be Doing
* Plan, deliver and assess student work to meet learning outcomes.
* Develop, update and improve course materials.
* Use varied teaching methods and materials.
* Engage in staff development, peer observations, meetings and administrative duties.
* Keep abreast of field developments and student support practices.
* Work toward objectives for attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.
About You
* Master’s degree in a relevant subject (PhD desirable).
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience in a relevant area.
* Extensive knowledge of subject matter.
* Experience supervising student work, providing support and feedback.
* Accurate reporting and maintain organized records.
* Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
* Ability to work with diverse groups.
Desirable
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification; or commitment to enrol and complete within three years.
* Experience designing or developing academic programmes.
