Overview
Climate17 is working with a heat network consultancy focused on the decarbonisation of heat in the UK. We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled MEP Revit Technician to strengthen the building services design team. You will deliver high-quality BIM models and coordinated MEP designs for a range of projects, from commercial to large-scale residential developments, using Revit MEP to ensure successful design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed Revit MEP models for HVAC, water, drainage, and other building services systems.
* Produce coordinated drawings, schematics, and schedules for RIBA Stages 3 & 4.
* Support project delivery by ensuring all models and outputs are accurate, consistent, and compliant with project standards and BIM protocols.
* Participate in design coordination meetings, helping to resolve clashes and interface issues with other disciplines.
* Assist engineers by preparing technical documentation, equipment layouts, and system schematics.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows, ensuring best practice in model setup, naming conventions, and data management.
* Support tender, construction, and handover phases through updates to drawings and responding to queries.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Revit MEP in a building services or consultancy environment.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical building systems.
* Demonstrated ability to create and manage coordinated 3D BIM models.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
* Experience with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks.
* Familiarity with CIBSE guidance and relevant UK building services standards.
* Knowledge of CDM regulations and design risk assessments.
* Exposure to sustainability-focused design and low-carbon technologies.
