Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development and learning through engaging activities.
Duties
* Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Skills
* Leadership abilities to guide and support junior staff members.
* Proven experience with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Previous nursery experience is highly desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£15.10 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
