Pay Rate: £30,402.32 per annum

**Previous dray delivery experience is an advantage**
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver's Mate / Assistant to play a vital role in our distribution service.
✅ WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
* As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
* Accompany a driver to delivery points where you will assist with unloading deliveries to customers' homes
* Maintain regular contact with the Transport Team and advise of all problems which may prevent the job being completed on time and without incident
* Liaise with customers to confirm delivery times and complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device
✅ WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* High levels of manual handling are required so you need to be physically fit
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
* Ability to read, understand and follow directions and instructions
* Connect easily to A1307, A1198, A14, local to PE29 2XR
* Previous practical experience as a Driver's Mate, within a logistics or similar environment would be preferable
