Job Description
The post holder will be responsible for demand planning of all finished products.
Own all demand analysis within the business and facilitate the Demand review process that feeds into the S&OP process. Additionally, generate relevant departmental KPIs as required.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Develop operational demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons.
* Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
* Coordinate with Sales and Product Managers to refine forecasts based on updated sales and marketing assumptions.
* Lead regional forecast reviews with subsidiaries and General Managers.
* Communicate demand changes with Production Planning.
* Input forecast data into IFS ERP to support Master Scheduling.
* Analyze sales versus forecast for all products to inform the S&OP process.
* Own the demand review component of the S&OP process and support sign-off.
* Provide input to the Supply Planning team on inventory strategies for existing, new, and phased-out products.
* Maintain accurate system data relevant to demand planning.
Qualifications & Development
* Support ongoing projects such as IFS system improvements impacting the Supply Chain.
* Develop skills and usage of IFS ERP.
* Support demand planning improvement initiatives and document procedures.
