3. Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
4. Prepare invoices and ensure timely payments are processed.
5. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
6. Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
7. Maintain and organise financial documentation for auditing purposes.
8. Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team on projects and tasks.
9. Respond to internal and external financial queries in a timely manner.
10. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Experience in an Accounting & Finance role, preferably within the business services industry.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
14. A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
15. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
16. A relevant qualification in accounting or finance would be advantageous
17. May be working towards their accountancy degree
