Responsibilities
* Work alongside the Home Manager in all aspects of running the home, including compliance, safeguarding, quality assurance, ensuring the home aligns with our values and standards and financial planning.
* Lead and inspire a team, providing supervision, appraisal, professional development and training.
* Manage the home effectively in the absence of the Registered Manager.
* Ensure a safe, homely environment and maintain high standards of care.
* Manage health and safety protocols, risk assessments and ensure compliance of training for the team.
* Liaise with professionals and contribute to care planning.

Qualifications
* Full UK Manual Driving license
* Level 3 in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce Qualification
* At least 1 year experience as a Senior Residential Care Worker in a Children’s Home setting.
Required Skills
* Ability to be a great role model to looked after children.
* Strong leadership with good team management skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with staff and looked after children.
* Genuine care and compassion to work with looked after children.
* Flexibility to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and bank holidays.
