Personal Tax Assistant

* Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
We are seeking a Personal Tax Assistant to join the tax team at a growing firm in Hitchin. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in tax, providing exposure to a diverse client base and the chance to work closely with senior team members.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist in the preparation of personal tax returns.
* Manage client information effectively.
* Support the Tax Director and Personal Tax Seniors with both compliance and advisory tasks.
* Progressively assume greater responsibility for managing your own portfolio of clients.
* Maintain high standards of work and contribute actively to the team's objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Ideally ATT part-qualified or aspiring to start studying towards this qualification.
* Experience in a tax or accounting environment is essential.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach to learning and development.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
