Support Worker – Waking Nights
Location: Cranbrook, Kent
Hours: 21:45 – 08:00
Pay: £134.79 per night
Contract: Full-time or part-time, permanent
Nights available: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable charity trust providing high-quality supported living services for adults with learning disabilities. We are currently looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join a friendly and dedicated team in Cranbrook, Kent.
The Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will help ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of the individuals we support throughout the night. Duties include:
Carrying out routine night-time checks
Providing assistance with personal care when required
Cleaning and general housekeeping tasks
Some food and vegetable preparation for the following day
Responding calmly and appropriately to any night-time needs or situations
This is an active night role, not a sleep-in position.
About You
Caring, reliable and able to work independently at night
Comfortable supporting adults with learning disabilities
A car driver is essential, as public transport is not available at these hours
