Indicative Salary: 45k OTE
Key Responsibilities
Building and Maintaining Client Relationships
Developing strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients to understand their advertising needs and tailor solutions to them.
Selling Advertising Solutions
Promoting and selling YorkMix advertising opportunities on-air, on the web, via sponsorships, and through promotional advertising & social media.
Meeting Sales Targets
Working to achieve and exceed individual sales targets by effectively managing a sales pipeline and closing deals.
Providing Excellent Customer Service
Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely, informative and professional service throughout the sales process and beyond.
Utilising Sales Systems
Accurately inputting and managing sales data, client information, and campaign details using the YorkMix CRM sales systems.
Staying Updated on Industry Trends
Continuously learning about the local market, multimedia advertising trends, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
Collaborating with Internal Teams
Working closely with other departments, such as the on-air presenters and programming team, to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven sales experience, preferably in the media or advertising industry.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong negotiation and closing skills.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
* Proficiency in using sales systems and CRM software.
* Knowledge of the local market and advertising landscape.
* Results-oriented and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A passion for media and the local community is a plus.
