Job Description
* Prepare and analyse management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support business decisions.
* Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying variances and opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and reporting.
* Support audits by preparing required documentation and liaising with auditors.
* Manage cost accounting and provide recommendations to optimise expenditures.
* Assist in developing financial strategies to enhance business performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* Qualifications in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CIMA, or similar.
* Proven experience in financial reporting and management accounts preparation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of accounting software and advanced proficiency in Excel.
* Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
* Understanding of the industrial/manufacturing sector is advantageous.
