Team Leader - Days
Salary: £17.03ph
Location: South Moor Lodge, Walkeringham, Doncaster, DN10 4LD
Hours: Full Time Permanent Contract (7am-7pm – 3 shifts per week including alternate weekends, an on‑call weekend rota and 8 hours a week supernumerary time)

About South Moor Lodge
Located in the village of Walkeringham, the home provides personal and dementia care for 41 residents.
Role Responsibilities
* Promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect, supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
* Lead the team to deliver the highest standard of care.
* Support carers in providing personal care and assistance with daily activities.
* Administer medication.
* Ensure knowledge of abuse prevention and recognition; understand procedures for allegations.
Role Requirements
* Relevant professional qualification, e.g., minimum level 3 in Health and Social Care.
* Minimum one year’s experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential/nursing home setting.
* Experience with person‑centred care planning.
* Full driving licence and own car.
* Live within 30 minutes of the home.
* Leadership and people skills, including effective one‑to‑one meetings.
* Ability to work under pressure with strong time‑management skills.
* Caring and nurturing attitude with a positive outlook.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Prepared to undertake additional training as required.
