Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive and exceptionally well-organised Member Support Officer to join our team.
Role and responsibilities
* Provide support to the council and its leadership as part of a team within Business Support.
* Operate in a generic team remit including community engagement and consultation, research and data analysis, policy development, performance management, service improvement, equalities, and handling members/public enquiries.
* Be customer focused and capable of developing relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring a strong link between the team’s work and residents’ needs and priorities.
About you
* Flexible in approach; able to adapt to individual needs or changing circumstances and switch focus as required.
* Understanding of the role and functions of local government and the respective roles of officers and Members.
