HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering Lecturer
Location: West Cumbria
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Contract: Full Time | Permanent
The Role
You will deliver high‑quality teaching to students studying Higher Certificate (HNC) and Higher Diploma (HND) programmes in Mechanical Engineering. Teaching will primarily take place in a classroom environment, supporting learners to develop advanced theoretical knowledge and practical understanding relevant to industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and informative lessons across HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering courses
* Support, assess and guide students through their academic journey
* Prepare lesson materials and contribute to curriculum development
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Requirements
* Minimum HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
* A Mechanical Engineering degree (desirable)
* Strong subject knowledge and industry insight
* Passion for teaching and developing future engineers
* Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification (fully funded)
