As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be hands‑on with hardware, visiting customer sites and remote worker locations to deliver deskside support that keeps businesses running smoothly. This is a dynamic, fast‑paced role where you’ll grow your technical skills, build confidence, and gain exposure to a wide range of environments.
Responsibilities
* Travel across County Antrim providing deskside support to end users.
* Deliver hardware and software support to customer sites and remote worker locations.
* Resolve real technical challenges and contribute to service quality.
What we are looking for:
* Working knowledge of MS Windows OS & MS Office Suite
* End User Devices hardware experience
* Deskside support experience
* Excellent customer‑facing skills with the ability to deal with difficult customers
* Clean driving licence
* Self‑management with good organisational skills
* Communication skills
* Ability to follow remote advanced technical instruction
Ideally, you will possess hands‑on work experience or have a sound knowledge of:
* Desktop / Workstation – (Dell, HP)
* Laptop – (Dell, HP)
* Server Module Support
* Network Module Support
You’ll be working to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), playing a key part in helping Capita meet its commitments.
