What will the job involve?
* Assisting our people to improve their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
* Offering stimulation and motivation through conversation and social activity.
* Assisting with meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
* Booking and attending healthcare appointments with our people.
* Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the management team.
* Maintaining records by keeping care plans and risk assessments up to date.
What you will possess
* Previous experience working with mental health and challenging behaviours, specifically self-harm.
* Knowledge and good understanding of Jamaican culture.
* The passion to support people in their daily lives, promoting their independence.
* Patience, care, and understanding.
* Ability to set clear boundaries.
* Outgoing, engaging, and enthusiastic personality.
