Bredbury Medical Centre practice
A 3 GP Partner practice with 1 salaried GP and being a Training practice, it has various medical students onsite. These medical students can be GP trainees, Junior Doctors to Physician Associates that are training in Practice, The practice has excellent patient reviews. The practice is located on a busy road within walking distance to the local train station nearby and on a bus route
Overview of the role
We are looking for someone that is confident on the telephone to answer incoming calls to deal with patients that wish to make an appointment and deal with basic enquiries. Computer literate and able to input data into the clinical system that the Practice uses. General filing of documents.
Supporting the administrative team when the reception is up to date.
Duties and Responsibilities
Answering the practice telephone.
Booking patient appointments on the clinical system.
Scanning of clinical documents.
General filing.
Assist the Medical Secretary in preparing patient referrals.
Making refreshments for the GP team.
To assist the team in the smooth running of the practice.
Training
In house training on NHS systems and visual/audio learning.
Internal Mandatory training
Business Administrator Apprenticeship Level 3 with Clinical Coding delivered by PMA Ltd. This will include Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
Qualifications
* GCSE or equivalent English (Grade Grade 4/C or above) desirable
* GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade Grade 4/C or above) desirable

£14,918 per annum
