Our long-standing manufacturing client in Bolton is looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their growing team.
They deliver complex projects across nuclear, oil & gas, defence, marine, industrial, pharmaceutical, architectural and water sectorsoffering varied and technically challenging work.
Overview:
* Operate press brake machinery to produce components to required specifications
* Set and run machines to pre-determined parameters, including material handling
* Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate pressing of parts
* Use overhead crane for safe movement of materials
* Work to Inspection and Test Plans, ensuring all components meet quality standards
* Pack, kit and prepare components following production
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area in line with company procedures
* Follow route cards, travellers and process documentation throughout production
* Ensure compliance with health & safety standards at all times
Essential Requirements:
1. Proven experience operating a Press Brake machine
2. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
3. Current overhead crane certification
4. FLT licence (desirable)
5. Experience working with route cards / process trackers / inspection plans
