Senior Business Development Manager
Software Sales - Logistics
Up to £90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Remote with UK Travel
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in selling Logistics Software? Our client is a global Logistics and Supply Chain Software Solution provider. This role involves developing and converting a sales pipeline, accountability for individual sales reporting, supporting sales initiatives, and collaborating across the business to convert significant opportunities with corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership:
o Sales Growth: Develop a new business sales pipeline aligned with sales KPIs, ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
o Strategic projects/bids: Coordinate strategic bid responses.
o Key/global accounts: Collaborate to maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities, assume sales leadership for key clients.
o Culture Building: Promote a motivated sales culture emphasizing success, inclusivity, and growth.
Client relationship management:
* Client-centricity: Build relationships, understand client needs, and present tailored solutions.
* Source and Selection: Generate qualified leads from activity and network.
Business Partnership:
* Communication: Work with Sales Director, Marketing Directors, and Analysts to align strategies.
* Deal focus: Support new business opportunities for revenue growth.
* Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and report on sales pipeline.
* Lead generation: Collaborate with Marketing to generate leads.
* Data-driven: Track KPIs and use insights for strategy improvements.
Experience:
* Previous experience as a Business Development Manager.
* Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Software Sales.
