About Equipment Management Solutions
EMS is a specialist equipment management solutions provider to large manufacturing organisations across the UK, Ireland, Europe and North America; with offices in Belfast, Dublin and Halifax. Operating mainly within the FMCG sector, EMS controls equipment pools that are used to distribute our customers' products to market. Customers include Pepsi, Coca Cola, Britvic, Danone and Nivea. Pallets are the primary equipment type but other equipment such as totes, plastic baskets and trays are also managed.
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Customer Solutions Executive to join our team. Reporting directly to the Customer Solutions Manager, this role plays a vital part in supporting customers and prospects by translating complex datasets into clear insights, delivering "health checks", and leading customer-focused projects. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis and presentation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate solutions effectively at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct Health Checks: Analyse customer and prospect data to produce insightful health checks, presenting findings that support decision-making and demonstrate value.
* Produce Insights: Deliver health check insights through clear visual storytelling, using dashboards, charts, and engaging presentations that bring data to life for diverse audiences.
* Lead Projects: Manage customer-focused projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and successful outcomes.
* Data Collaboration: Work directly with customers to secure, interrogate, and validate datasets, ensuring accuracy and relevance for solution design.
* Communicate Insights: Deliver presentations and reports that simplify complex information, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Develop Solutions: Partner with internal teams to design and implement customer solutions that enhance efficiency and performance.
* Support Colleagues: Share expertise across the business, contributing to knowledge transfer and alignment on customer needs.
Skills, Experience and Attributes
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarise datasets into actionable insights.
* Proven experience presenting complex information clearly, engagingly, and professionally.
* Demonstrated success in leading and delivering customer-focused projects.
* Experience working directly with customers to gather and interrogate data.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Organised, proactive, and confident working independently and collaboratively.
* Solutions-driven and customer-first mindset, with strong problem-solving ability.
* Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis platforms desirable.
Qualifications and Attributes
* Background in logistics, supply chain, data analysis, or a related field preferred.
* A keen eye for detail with the ability to translate analysis into meaningful recommendations.
