Overview
Horsham Rural City Council has an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in the community.
This key role is responsible for the delivery of environmental health services, administration of Environmental Health legislation, providing leadership to the community and Council along with Council\'s Environmental Health Officer ensuring that risks to public health are managed.
About You
Council is seeking an Environmental Health professional with a Degree in Environmental Health (or equivalent) and eligibility for appointment as an Environmental Health Officer under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 (Vic).
Strong understanding of relevant legislation including the Food Act 1984, Environmental Protection Act 2017, and associated regulations and standards is also required.
