About the Role
As the Pre-Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning and preparing for various water projects across the South West. This role involves managing budgets, developing construction schedules, and overseeing the pre-construction phase, including design, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the client partnership to shape the program
* Establish budgets and identify optimization opportunities for project delivery
* Develop and manage the pre-construction program
* Establish and manage project budgets
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and design teams
* Develop and manage procurement strategies and engage with subcontractors
* Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the pre-construction phase
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project governance processes
* Coordinate and lead the pre-construction team, providing guidance and support
Qualifications
Previous experience working within the water sector for a main contractor is essential, as the projects involve a diverse range of sizes and complexities, including traditional civil works alongside mechanical and electrical components.
Required Skills
Experience in civil, mechanical, and electrical works related to water projects is required.
