We’re on the lookout for a skilled Class 2 HGV Driver to join our fantastic team in Avonmouth. This isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger. You’ll be working a rolling 3-week rota, covering 4 shifts over 7 days, with 12-hour shifts starting between 3pm and 5pm. If you thrive on the road and love the excitement of a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Success in This Role Looks Like:
* Safety First: A solid understanding of Health and Safety Legislation and Food Safety Standards, along with a good geographic knowledge of UK roads.
* Daily Checks: Conducting thorough checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy, the load is secure, and everything matches the delivery paperwork.
* Experience Matters: Ideally, you’ll have at least 1 year of current driving experience, no more than 6 points on your license, and multi-drop delivery experience, particularly in the chilled food industry.
* Team Player: You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and managers, working together to achieve daily targets.
