Overview Sensoteq is a Belfast-based company building the next generation of condition monitoring tools for industrial machines. We combine advanced sensors with powerful software to help our customers predict faults, reduce downtime, and operate more efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for the value proposition of our Analytix cloud platform. You will be anticipating the needs of the customer, through constant engagement with end users and experts in the field. Ideally, you will offer some experience of UI design and user experience flow documented through good visual aids, such as wireframes. Sensoteq design and develop both software and hardware products that work together, giving this Product Owner a unique opportunity to influence the whole product chain. The Role Owning our flagship software platform Analytix Create a user experience that sets the standard Build on the existing value proposition and strengthen it Maintain an accessible user interface (desktop & mobile) Use our current development processes The team is currently transitioning from Scrum to Shape Up Assist in the transition Help drive the fundamentals of Shape Up Prioritise work based on customer and company needs Connecting the dots between feedback and development Regularly gather feedback from customers Use metrics to understand actual use of the product Understand the real-world problems our customers are facing Define and frame the problems for the wider Sensoteq team consumption Developing the software product roadmap with the team manager Create feature/problem pitches for assessment by exec team Ensuring alignment between hardware and software roadmaps Delivering roadmaps to key stakeholders, both internal and external Engage fully with the technical teams on a day to day basis Aid in support of documentation, marketing material and training You will learn or improve: Why product quality is essential to a fast-paced growing company A lot about the world of predictive maintenance, condition monitoring and vibration analysis How IoT and Industry 4.0 is helping to drive efficient manufacturing processes How agile practices work in a company that develops both hardware and software Why retrospection and continuous improvement is key to good design Travel and customer engagement makes the best products What You Will Need 5+ years in product ownership or similar role Demonstratable experience of product success Product Owner experience within a software product Experience with agile methodologies: Scrum or Shape Up Degree level qualification in software, engineering, business or similar Expectation of hybrid working: 3 days in office minimum Excellent communicator in both verbal and written communication Occasional travel (in line with your own needs) Must have the right-to-work in the UK Nice to Have Past technical experience to enable adequate critique of technical proposals UX/UI design experience An understanding of cloud technologies Past experience creating wireframes, with a primary focus on low-fidelity for tech discussion Skills: roadmaps product owner Software Analytics Benefits: Flexible working hybrid working bonus scheme Private healthcare Group Life Assurance Enhanced family leave
