Your new firmOur client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Claims Handler to join their growing Financial Lines team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse andplex caseload, with a particular focus on Professional Indemnity (PI) and Cyber claims. You will play a key role in managing claims from notification through to resolution, providing strategic input, and delivering exceptional service to clients across a broad range of sectors.
Your new role
You will:
1. Handle a portfolio ofplex insurance claims from notification through to resolution
2. Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims in line with policy terms and regulatory requirements
3. Liaise with clients, brokers, insurers, and legal teams to ensure effective claims handling
4. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all claims
6. Identify potential risks, trends, and opportunities for process improvement
7. Ensurepliance with FCA regulations and internal policies
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience as a Claims Handler, with significant exposure toplex or high-value claims
9. Strong knowledge of insurance principles and claims processes
10. Excellent negotiation,munication, and stakeholder management skills
11. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high performance
12. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
13. Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff is desirable
