The company is seeking a capable and detail-driven Estimator to join its commercial team. Experience in heritage or complex refurbishment projects is highly desirable.
Experience
* 2+ years of estimating experience in the construction sector, particularly listed or heritage projects
* Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and cost structures
* Confident with Excel and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift, ConQuest)
* Ability to interpret architectural/structural drawings and specifications
* Detail-focused with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Commercially aware and proactive in identifying value engineering opportunities
Job Responsibilities
* Quantify materials and labour requirements from technical drawings and site visits
* Prepare cost estimates for residential, commercial, and specialist construction projects
* Obtain competitive quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
* Manage tender documentation and create detailed BOQs and cost schedules
* Collaborate with project teams to align commercial strategies and ensure accurate handovers
* Support early-stage project delivery with ongoing commercial insight and analysis
