Job Details:
* Maintain accurate purchase ledger records and accounting standards and timetable.
* Assist in maintaining the treasury operations maintaining standards and escalating where appropriate.
* Collaborate with the rest of finance team by providing help and coverage during the busy month end.
* Understand my departmental/divisional budget constraints and what these mean to me, where applicable.
* Provide input to enable tracking of actual costs vs budgets.
* Contribute to departmental/divisional plans to address risks and identify opportunities.
* Report on my achievement against my targets using agreed methods.
* Understand, adopt and follow to the clients policies and procedures using required systems and methods.
* Understand the implications of any changes to legislation, that affect me and comply with these and request any training I need.
* Provide data and support as required for process and system audits.
* Work in and maintain a safe and legal working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
* The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Good communication skills and confident telephone manner
* Basic excel knowledge
* Time Management
* The capacity to think ahead, plan and prioritise own workload.
* The ability to work as part of a team.
* The ability to build professional working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
* A positive approach, with the determination to succeed
* Industry specific knowledge in Engineering or Building Services
* Previous experience of Pegasus Opera Accounting Package/Software and Microsoft Dynamics 365
* Knowledge of CIS
* AAT Qualification
