Job Description
New Directions Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistants to work in an outstanding secondary school in Sefton. This is a long-term position, ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping young people with low-level special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

The Role:
4. Provide whole-class support under the guidance of teaching staff.
5. Deliver targeted support to small groups of students who require additional help.
6. Work 1:1 with pupils with low-level SEND, helping them engage with learning and build confidence.
The Ideal Candidate:
7. Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational, care, or support setting is desirable.
8. Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service, if not already done.
9. Must have employment references within the last 5 years.
