Corporate Reporting Accountant First step into Industry North West Are yo u an auditor seeking a first step into an inhouse role? Our client is a large, international professional services firm based in Lancashire with an internal finance team of c80 staff. With offices throughout the UK and global reach, their corporate reporting team support commercial decision-making for each of the firms service lines. Given the fee-earning nature of professional services, this role suits an auditor who understands how the professional services sector charges its clients. This is a great opportunity for someone to make their first move into an industry role and to offer a value add service to internal stakeholders. Corporate Reporting Accountant responsibilities include: Drafting and reviewing financial statements Preparing technical accounting papers Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of tax returns including VAT, employment taxes and corporation taxes. Managing regulatory and controls risk As a Corporate Reporting Accountant, you will be/have: Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified A minimum of 3 years practical experience Proficient in Excel (understanding of pivot tables, vlookup, sumif etc. as a minimum) Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
