Role and responsibilities
Team Leaders with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Team Leader to join us in our lovely three bed service in Caversham. This service supports three long-term residents who have shared their home for over 30 years and have formed a close-knit, family-like bond. They are supported by a dedicated and longstanding team that promotes their independence and encourages them to engage in everyday activities. The residents are capable and active individuals who attend college and participate in volunteer work, meaning they are often out and about in the community.
As a Team Leader with us you’ll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, conducting supervisions and appraisals, developing and updating care plans, ordering medication, ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances and day-to-day management of the service in the absence of the manager. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Team Leaders are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

Qualifications and experience
* Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards one.
* Experience working with residents who have Autism, Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviour.
* Experience in Team Leader role or as a Support Worker and seeking a step up are welcomed.
