Job Title: Care Assistant

Careegrow is hiring on behalf of an employer seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join their team. This role involves delivering high-quality support to individuals in care home or home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well‑being.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and independence
* Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care records using relevant IT systems
* Assist with medication administration in line with established guidelines (where applicable)
* Support with light household duties such as cleaning and meal preparation, as outlined in care plans
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated and consistent care
* Accompany or transport clients to appointments or social outings when required
Requirements & Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided)
* Good command of English, both written and verbal
* Basic IT skills for record‑keeping and reporting
* Valid driving licence is advantageous (for roles involving travel)
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
