As one of the UK's leading accident repair groups, Steer Automotive continues to invest in its people, processes, and performance. This newly created position will play a pivotal role in supporting our operational teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes, achieve work provider targets, and drive continuous improvement across multiple repair centres. Working closely with Regional Managers, Site Managers, and key work providers, you'll use performance data and operational insight to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and help our sites achieve outstanding results. ​ Key Responsibilities Produce weekly and month-to-date performance reports, clearly highlighting how each site is performing against work provider SLAs and key operational metrics. Identify repair jobs that are in breach of work provider SLAs and proactively communicate findings to Regional and Site Managers, providing practical recommendations to improve performance and reduce cycle times. Compile and distribute monthly regional performance packs, delivering detailed analysis of results, trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Lead and participate in regular Microsoft Teams meetings with Regional and Site Managers to: Review performance data and trends Identify priority focus areas Develop and document clear, measurable action plans. Attend and contribute to monthly review meetings with work providers, particularly where sites are underperforming, using data and performance insight to support discussions and drive improvement initiatives. Monitor and track the effectiveness of agreed actions, ensuring performance improvements are sustained and corrective measures are implemented where required. Work closely with operational teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the business. Support the delivery of regional and business-wide performance objectives through proactive engagement with operational stakeholders. ​ About You We're looking for an experienced accident repair professional who combines strong analytical capability with a thorough understanding of bodyshop operations. You will be comfortable working with performance data, identifying trends, and translating insights into practical actions that deliver measurable improvements across multiple sites. ​ Skills, Knowledge & Experience Essential Significant experience within the accident repair industry, with a strong understanding of repair centre operations and performance drivers. Experience working with work provider SLAs, KPIs, cycle times, and operational performance measures. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify opportunities for improvement. Experience producing and presenting performance reports to operational and senior management teams. Proven ability to influence, engage, and build effective working relationships with managers and stakeholders at all levels. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a regional network. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with performance reporting tools. ​ Desirable Experience working across multiple sites within an accident repair or automotive environment. Previous involvement in insurer, fleet, manufacturer, or work provider performance reviews.
