We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering training provider in the Humber region that delivers high-quality apprenticeships and engineering training to hundreds of employers across manufacturing, engineering and industrial sectors.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint 1 x Electrical / Multi Skilled Engineering Assessor to support apprentices across the region.
This role is ideal for engineers looking to step away from shift work or site-based roles and move into a position where they can pass on their industry knowledge while helping to develop the next generation of engineers.
The Role
As a Field Team Assessor, you will visit apprentices within their workplace to assess their progress against apprenticeship standards and support their technical development.
You will work closely with learners and employers across the Humber region, helping apprentices build the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for successful careers in engineering.
Key Responsibilities
* Visiting apprentices within their workplace across the Humber region
* Assessing learner progress against apprenticeship standards
* Supporting apprentices through mentoring and technical guidance
* Working with employers to ensure training objectives are met
* Maintaining accurate assessment records and learner progress reports
What We Are Looking For
* Background as an Electrical Engineer or Multi Skilled Engineer
* Relevant engineering trade qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine interest in supporting the development of apprentices
* Ability to manage a regional caseload independently
Essential Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
The successful candidate will need to travel between training centres and company sites across the Humber region, therefore public transport is not a practical option.
Desirable (Training Can Be Provided)
* Level 3 Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, CAVA or equivalent)
* IQA Level 4 qualification
Candidates without assessor qualifications are welcome to apply. Full support will be provided to gain the required qualifications. Benefits include:
