Description
Provide one-to-one and group support to students with special educational needs in the classroom.
Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored lesson plans.
Encourage social interaction and promote self-esteem among pupils.
Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support students during school activities, including outings and events.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Provide administrative support related to student records and educational plans.Profile
A successful SEND Teaching Assistant should have:
Experience working with children with special educational needs in an educational setting.
A positive and patient attitude with the ability to adapt to individual student needs.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field (preferred).Job Offer
