Youll work across two modern biogas sites in Lincolnshire, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations while supporting the continuous improvement of plant performance. The Role
Operate, monitor, and maintain anaerobic digestion (AD), gas upgrading, and gas injection systems Perform daily plant checks, monitor feedstock levels, and record operational data Respond to plant alarms, identify faults, and carry out corrective maintenance Manage spare parts and maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal downtime Oversee and support contractors on site to maintain safety and compliance Ensure all operations meet SHEQ and Environmental Agency standards Assist with analytical testing and performance optimisation projects Participate in the site call-out rota and provide cover during absences About You
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Multi-skilled background in industrial, utilities, process, or agricultural environments Experience in anaerobic digestion, biogas, or renewable energy is an advantage Confident with mechanical systems, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental compliance Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently IT literate
able to use Excel and digital reporting tools Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites Whats on Offer
