The Role We’re looking for a Company Secretarial Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This is a brilliant opportunity to build experience in a highly visible role, supporting corporate governance, compliance, and ESG initiatives across the Group. Working closely with the Group Company Secretary, you’ll play a key role in ensuring governance processes run smoothly, supporting high-quality reporting, and contributing to sustainability and disclosure activities that underpin our long-term success. What you will do You’ll work closely with the Group Company Secretary to: Support Board, Committee, SLT and AGM processes, including agenda planning and coordination Prepare and submit regulatory filings within required deadlines Support share scheme administration Assist with the Annual Report & Accounts process Contribute to ISO standards, audits, and governance-related activities Provide general administrative and operational support to the Company Secretariat function You’ll also have responsibility for: Calculating the Group’s carbon emissions to support ESG reporting Developing and maintaining a Group-wide bid and tender response repository Maintaining the Environmental Management System and supporting colleagues with guidance What you'll bring: Previous administrative experience in a professional or corporate environment Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Clear and professional communication skills Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a flexible approach Strong document management and administrative capability Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Desirable (but not essential): Experience in a company secretarial or governance-related role Exposure to ESG reporting or environmental management systems Our Values We’re proud of how we work together.
