TEMP TO PERM! MIG AND TIG WELDING! BURSLEM AREA!
Premier Placement Services are currently looking for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to work for our well established client based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent.
MIG Welder Pay: £13.50 per hour - overtime available
TIG Welder Pay: £14.00 per hour - overtime available
Shift: Monday to Thursday 7.15am - 4.00pm and Friday 7.15am to 1.15pm
Candidate duties:
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* MIG and TIG welding
* Weld sheet metal components including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium
* Prepare materials for welding by measuring, cutting and grinding
* Perform tack welding, fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products
* Use linishing and finishing equipment to smooth welds and prepare surfaces to a high-quality finish
* Grind, deburr, polish and finish fabricated parts to customer and company standards
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience is essential
* Ability to work independently or within a team
* Reliable and punctual
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
