Job Overview
Supply Chain Production & Material Planner – Worcester. Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year (depending on experience). Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (8:30 am – 4:30 pm with a 30‑minute lunch break).
Key Responsibilities
* Create and manage daily and weekly production plans
* Coordinate material and stock requirements to support production
* Monitor inventory levels and investigate stock discrepancies
* Work closely with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time
* Use ERP/MRP systems to manage planning and stock control
* Support purchasing activities and supplier performance monitoring
* Maintain accurate planning and stock records
* Liaise with production, warehouse, and commercial teams to ensure smooth operations
* Prepare and present planning KPI reports when required
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain roles
* Experience within manufacturing or FMCG environments preferred
* Good understanding of MRP/ERP systems
* Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
