About the Job Working closely with the Purchase and Payables Manager, the Purchase Ledger Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of supplier invoices and payments. Main responsibilities include: Accurately entering and matching high volumes of invoices to purchase orders Performing supplier statement reconciliations to support month-end close processes Preparing supplier payment runs twice monthly Responding promptly to supplier queries relating to invoices or payments Working with managers to resolve invoice or credit note issues Ensuring compliance with VAT requirements Providing support to the wider finance function as needed Skills & Experience Essential: At least 2 years experience in a purchase ledger role, processing large volumes of invoices, credit notes, and payments Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Desirable: Previous experience using Microsoft Business Central or similar accounting systems For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Ollie Mairs at HireIQ in complete confidence.
